I’m Philippa Hawkins, a qualified teacher, specialist tutor and dyslexia assessor. I provide professional assessments and tailored one to one support from my home in Haslemere, helping children and young people better understand their learning and build confidence.
I offer specialist support for children and young people aged 8–18, with a focus on understanding individual learning needs and providing practical, effective support.
With over 15 years’ experience in education, I have worked across mainstream and specialist settings in both the state and independent sector. I am passionate about helping children and young people access the support they need to succeed and become confident, independent learners.
I am a member of the Dyslexia Guild, hold an Assessment Practising Certificate, and am regulated by SASC.
A diagnostic assessment is a clear, structured process designed to understand how a child or young person learns.
From an initial discussion through to a full written report, I guide you through each stage in a calm and supportive way, ensuring you feel informed and confident throughout.
Based in Haslemere, I support families across Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire, including Midhurst, Liphook, Petersfield, Farnham, Petworth, Godalming, Hindhead, Chiddingfold and Grayshott.
If you would like to arrange an initial discussion or have any questions, please get in touch. I’ll be happy to help you decide on the next step.
